From 9pm to 12am, watched 3 hours of Doctor Who; "Utopia" (Jack is back!)", "The Sound of Drums" & "Last of The Time Lords". There were really at least a dozen other things I should have been during, but, I was very sluggish after eating 12 mini Trix Ice Cream Bars. You heard me correctly, 12! It was the very first thing I ate Tuesday, starting at 4:40pm. And, this was after I got on the scale & saw that I had lost 8 of the 15 lbs gained in the previous 3 weeks. Why do I always sabotage my weight lost efforts? I feel only a psychiatrist may be able to answer that one.
Speaking of "Last of The Time Lords", I finally realized where I saw the actor Tom Ellis, who is in a new drama, Rush, on the USA Network, on Thursdays at 9pm - character, Dr. Wm. P. Rush. I think he is the same actor who played Dr. Tom Milligan in Last of The Time Lords. I'm still peeved at RTD for marrying Martha off to Mickey & not Tom Milligan, which made no sense at all. And, what is it with RTD & the writers on both Doctor Who & Torchwood, using either the actor's real first name or the same name from one drama to the next or, the same phrase, over & over again ( Tom Ellis = Tom Milligan & Yanto = Ianto) & Love That Coat (used in Torchwood & Miracle Day) & What? What? (uttered in several different episodes of Doctor Who &, used again, in Miracle Day!). Have they no imagination? Of course not.
I think I will be catching the premier of the new season of Doctor Who, this coming Saturday on BBCA. Did not watch too many episodes of Matt Smith's seasons as Doctor Who. Hopefully, I will be able to not see Peter Capaldi as the character Frobisher, of COE infamy. After all, I was able to see John Barrowman as Malcom Merlyn in his role on Arrow & not as Jack Harkness. John is good at playing a bad guy. And, I thought I saw Daleks in the trailer for the new season of Doctor Who. I thought the Doctor finally vanquished them in "Journey's End". Guess I should have watched more of seasons 5, 6 & 7. Well, we shall see.
