Martin Freeman will be the host on this weekend's (12/13) edition of "Saturday Night Live". Saw the advertisement earlier this evening; I have to say, Martin Freeman looked fantastic, so much younger. Is that his real hair & color? He is cute. He will make me watch SNL for the first time in 15 years!
Also, because of Sam Smith, I will be watching the Grammy's (it was Adele that brought me back to the Grammy's, after 25 years). I did not catch his appearance on SNL, but, did watch it on YouTube - absolutely stunning performance. Sam singing live is even better then the album (which is great, by the way). And, earlier last month, caught his performance on American Music Awards - another great live performance (this was only my second time watching the AMA's).
My evening's TV viewing included the Victoria Secrets Fashion Show; Taylor Swift was the primary artist & she was good. But, Ed Sheeran & Ariana Grande were better. And the singer, Hozier, good Lord! Where has he been? I keep hearing the name Hozier & meant to catch his appearances on several of the late night talk shows, but, never did. Just hearing him once, I intend to download his album tonight. He is brilliant!
The VS models, as usual, all looked stunning (although, I thought one looked way too thin for her height - IMHO). I think I saw only two Bra & Panties ensembles that a person could actually wear. The others, all just pretty costumes that no one will wear, outside of the VS Fashion Show.
My question - what is the purpose of the Victoria Secrets Fashion Show? Can it really be called "Fashion", when hardly anyone can wear the stuff?
