What can I say about this somewhat conflicted young women, without sounding overly critical?

You are so quick to state " I'm tired of being labeled. I am an American. I'm not as African-American. I'm an American ". But, you go on to "label" yourself by saying you connect with Caucasian, Asian, Black, Indian - that's a lot of labels! Also, did you mean East Indian? If not, then Native Americans do not wish to be called "Indian". Just thought you should know, that is a "label" they dislike. You appear to have no qualms about labeling others

Then to go on to say, "I am an American & that's a colorless person". On what Planet, may I ask? You are somewhat lacking in the kind of education that matters, my dear. And, to say that " I have a nice, interesting grade of hair ". Please don't go there! To imply that my "kinky, tight, curly hair" is not interesting or nice, shows you to be in denial or a hypocrite, or both. Either way, it's sad.

ARROW

Watched season 3 premier, episode 1 of Arrow. Did I somehow miss John Barrowman as Malcom Merlyn? He was certainly listed in the opening credits. Now, I may have missed him when I was running back & forth to the kitchen checking on Muffins, I just had to bake (see below). Was that his only appearance at the end, filling Sara (The Canary) full of arrows! I still did not get a glimpse of Malcolm. Will have to watch a repeat On Demand tomorrow. Don't the powers that be realized my only reason for watching is to see John Barrowman portraying the evil Malcom Merlyn?

Oliver's backstory annoys me. This flipping back & forth between the past & the present - enough already! Just to repeat, I so dislike Laurel. And, Oliver, regarding Felicity, you had better wake up & stop being so stupid. When you actually asked her out on a dinner date, I went Yay. Then you did a complete reversal & went back to being stupid. I'm not familiar with the Marvel Comics characters, but, I hope they don't kill off Felicity. She is one of my favorites.

I love that bit at the end when he gets a call from Barry; after Arrow, next show on was a repeat of episode 1 of The Flash. Nice segue. Making a promise to myself, to watch Arrow next week & give it my complete attention.
