President Obama is thinking (don't think - do it ) of resuming diplomatic ties with Cuba. Gee whiz, we're at least 50 years late! Six years in, don't you think it's about time, Mr. President? Ok, ok - I know it is not entirely the President's fault. He can only do what the law allows via Executor Order. It's a start, now let Congress finish the job. Oh no, we are doomed!

The Voice (USA); most of the time, I'm unhappy with the endings of these shows, why do I continue to watch? No one really stood out with this season's group. I really did not think they were really all that great, with the exception of Chris, on Adam's team. So, who do we get as the Winner? Another Country singer, not a very good one at that. I always felt as if he was doing a parody of what he thought a Country singer should be.

And, Bruno Mars, really? Rollers in your hair? I hope you don't think you've started something new. In my day, we thought it was cool to go outside, completely dressed up, with Rollers in our hair - or so we thought in our delusional state. Wow, that was so " Chic " back in the 60's, NOT!


BTW - loved performance of " Uptown Funk ".

"O CHRISTMAS TREE, O CHRISTMAS TREE"!

I vowed not to buy a live Christmas Tree this year; of course, I did not stick to it & ordered it online, on 12/9. I called myself ordering early, figured it would take about 7-10 days to be sent. And, I did not want to pay the $39 air shipping fee it cost, when I call them 4 days before Christmas; I must say, they always get it to me by Christmas Eve, as promised.

Well, the tree was delivered 12/12 - way too early for me. So, I have a bare tree sitting in my living room & the thought of decorating it is filling me with dread. I bought new ornaments & some of them have glitter on them - ugh! Wish I could find someone & pay them to decorate my tree for me. I'll throw in free pizza & soda!
