Throw My Hands In The Air!
Jun. 23rd, 2015 08:42 pmLike I just don't care. I care, but, I am so flipping angry right now & have been for the last 10 days. Serious matters, but, not gone to comment at this time. Need to clear my head first. The question I ask is, what in the world have we become? The next time I hear some stupid, brain-dead political figure mention the words " exceptional " & " post-racial ", when referring to this country, I swear, I will toss something through my TV screen!
Let me dwell on the minor minutiae of my life.
For the sixth time this year, I have had to change my password with Verizon. No matter what User Name I use, they keep locking me out. I finally used their Chat Service; the rep was helpful, but, following one step in her instructions, I ended up with all 3 weeks of my history deleted! Which is where I listed all the LJ & DW Torchwood fan-fiction authors I have been reading since July 2009. Plus, about 30 authors in my Fan-fiction.net library. Now, I have to go through the pains-staking job of re-listing all those authors. Thank goodness, I do have a lot of them written down somewhere. That should be fun.
Speaking of Verizon, I purchased a iPhone 6 two months ago; activated it, but, have never been able to transfer my phone contacts from my Smartphone to the iPhone 6. I've tried everything, Verizon & YouTube tutorials - nothing worked. Three years ago, when I switched from my previous Cell Phone to my Smartphone, all I had to do was go online to Verizon's site, type in a code & all phone contacts automatically transferred to my Smartphone. That, apparently, was not an option this time. I couldn't even download my contacts from iCloud Backup.
So, I added all 65 of my phone contacts manually to my iPhone 6, early this morning, about 4:30 am! Still trying to find out how to transfer photos from my computer to my iPhone 6. Transferring music from iTunes went fine.
But, here is the kicker; last week I received a new " Panasonic Cell To Link " landline phone. With just a few steps online at the Panasonic Help site, it took all of 5 seconds for those 65 contacts I manually added to my iPhone 6, to automatically transfer to my landline phone! Go figure.
Maybe I will try again transferring my Photos - I certainly don't want all of them on my iPhone - iCloud shows I now have 1,698 photos on line & this is after I deleted over 300 of them. No wonder my computer has a slower & slower response time.
Later, for that. Right now, off to make a Frozen Yogurt dessert in my mini food processor & to make a loaf of Ciabatta Bread - will start in the Bread Machine up to the dough stage, then complete the baking in the oven. Don't see anything that could go wrong. LOL!
