CAN WE TALK? PLEEEEZE

Let me get this off my chest right now. Sorry, but I do not like these portraits of President Barack H. Obama & Michelle Obama, which are slated to hang in the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery. UGH!! Please, don't do it. These are simply awful. Horrendous, even.






Where is Michelle's beautiful brown skin?



Why is the President sitting surrounded by all that foliage? For what purpose?




I really, really hate that tan suit! And, there you go again with the stupid foliage - reminds me of the Between Two Ferns interview.

These are the worst portraits of any recent President & First Lady I have ever seen What were these artists thinking? I could do better! They look like cartoon characters. I don't know, it appears the First Couple likes them. Well, I don't think most of the public will. So far, majority of the comments are brutal. Someone commented that these look as if they were done by a Paint-By-Numbers Kit! And, I agree with them. These portraits do not belong in the Smithsonian. Please redo these portraits, they are not worthy of President Obama & First Lady, Michelle. They deserve better. This is so not right. FIX THIS!

NOTE: After typing this, found out these are NOT the official portraits that will be hung in the White House. Thank Goodness!

My Word! What? I'm not saying anything.



Good gracious, he looks to be about 25 years old in this photo. In fact, he was soon to turn 36 at the time this picture was taken. He was performing the character of Brick, in Tennessee William's " Cat On A Hot Tin Roof ". This was in March 2017, at Theatr Clwyd, in Wales. I understand he got great reviews. Also, the actress portraying Maggie the Cat & the actor for the Big Daddy character.

Please, somebody, bring back Torchwood, as a TV show or a Movie. Of course, with the Ianto Jones' character very much alive and as Second In Command. Along with Tosh & Owen. Nobody dead, except, maybe PC Gwen Cooper. Also, have Ianto Jones as the only love interest of one Captain Jack Harkness. That's my script & I'm sticking to it.


BTW, this is going to be my Start Page Background Wallpaper photo, at least until Gareth's birthday, March 28th.
