The great Aretha Franklin has passed on. May she rest in Glory, forever.

I can't begin to tell you how many times I've watched this video and cried each time. Never more so then in the last few days. Each time whispering to myself, Aretha, please don't go yet.

Discovered February 15. 2010. NASA has now named this asteroid in honor of the great Aretha Franklin.
