Finally, I think I have gotten rid of those annoying pop-ups & unwanted advertisements, that showed up on every site I visited. Also, at this moment, I am no longer getting warnings that every site is dangerous. I don't know exactly what I did, but, at least for now I won't have to pay Geeks On Site to do a home visit; last time, they cost almost $600!
However, I'm still getting the alerts from McAfee that they " prevented a potentially unwanted program from running ". Appears I have to do more searching to find out what is going on. Or, I may just switch to Norton 360. At least now I can catch up with all the Torchwood stories I have not been able to read for weeks.
And, as I am typing this, just noticed that my Modem/Router is showing I have no internet. Well, it is too late to deal with it now - I need to go to bed.
