How can I make you see the error of your thinking?
Really? You cannot be serious. Still trumpeting the TPP? I just don't understand, what it is about this trade agreement, that you cannot see how wrong it is, on so many levels. And, at Nike, of all places! I may have voted for you twice, although, I certainly have not agreed with all that you have said and done. But, this is so disappointing.
And, Tom Brady, what an absolute chump. Yeah, I know - innocent until proven guilty. You and the New England Patriots have been my favorite team & player for years. But, this just all ties in with the whole corrupt NFL culture. There is a valid reason I'm no longer a fanatic sports fan; last February was my first time watching the Super Bowl in 5 years.
It certainly says something telling about Americans, when we get hugely upset about a few young African-Americans rioting, burning & looting, with the murder of another unarmed African-American by the Police as a backdrop. But, we seem to condone the rioting, burning & looting by an overwhelmingly White group of sports fans, all because their team lost the NCAA basketball championship. Our focus & priorities are so skewed!
I have found that cooking really does put me in a calm, stress-free environment - even though I'm so very bad at it.
Decided I wanted a Bacon Cheeseburger, on a Brioche Bun. So, I made Brioche Bread in my Bread Machine, on the dough cycle, then baked in the oven. Turned out rather well & they tasted great. Picture below. And, I did not burn up the burgers, as I did last week. After all that craving for a "Bacon" Cheeseburger, I forgot to put the bacon on the Cheeseburger! It's sitting on the kitchen counter. Well, I still have 18 vacuum-packed raw burgers in the freezer - more than enough to try Bacon Cheeseburgers again.
No, I'm not going to explain why I have 18 burgers in my freezer - I rarely eat red meat. Except, for Bacon. And, the Bacon Cheeseburger, I usually buy 3 to 4 times a year. How well I remember that Baby-back rib debacle - I got rid of them because it made me ill to even look at them in the freezer.
Now off to clean up after my baking. Thank goodness, there's not much cleaning up to do.
