Her name is Ashley Burnham (nee Callingbull). She is a First Nation Cree from Alberta, 1st Canadian & 1st Aboriginal person to will the title. And, right out of the block, she is taking no prisoners. Listening, P M Harper?
Definitely not a fan of beauty pageants, but, this peaked my interest enough to make me read the article. Best of luck to her, taking on the politicians & other issues adversely affecting the First Nations people & the rest of Canada.
Typing while waiting for 7 chapters to print out - a favorite Torchwood MPREG story. It's by http://lyryk-fics.livejournal.com/2603.html
Title is: NAMELESS. Will read it later today, while watching US Open Tennis. It's an excellent story.
Think I've just about used up my black ink; good thing HP Instant Ink sends me ink without my having to do anything. They monitor my printer, see when I'm getting low on ink & ship it out to me. The program I chose is $9.99 a month. Still, it's a bargain - lot cheaper then paying over $58 every 2 months!
As long as I don't print out over 300 pages a month (which renews every 30 days), plus use up the "one-time" 300 Roll-over pages, my cost is only the $9.99 a month. Must admit that I did go over 300 pages last month & used up 224 of the available Roll-over pages (have only 76 Roll-over pages left); that happened when I decided to print out another Torchwood MPREG story, Something Like Hope, in huge print. Never doing that again!
