Cooking, that is. Gained 16 lbs. since 7/6/15. And, I can no longer blame it on the Steroid injection I had on 7/22/15.

How does one mess up something so simple as Jello? It was supposed to be Cherry, but, tasted like water with a slight cherry flavor, in gelatin form. And, I'm never making Caramel Whipped Crème again. Burned the brown sugar. Re-made it with Confectioners sugar; for some reason, it was like eating butter (no butter in it).

Only four things I might try again; Candied Sweet potatoes, Irish Tea Cake (really good!), Rice Pudding & an Asian Jalapeno Chicken dish; chicken was supposed to be the focus of the dish, but, I mixed in lots of brown rice & turned it into a sweet & sour rice dish, with chicken & jalapenos. Quite successful, I might add. Only because I did not use raw chicken - used pre-cooked Perdue Grilled Chicken Strips. Worked out very well. Also, never, ever trying to make Blueberry Frozen Yogurt Ice Cream again. The absolute pits. Or, should I say, the seeds? I don't know how I ever ate Blueberries as a child. And, believe me, I ate a lot of Blueberries living on the farm.

I've decided to keep a photo record of things I've attempted to cook or bake & see if I've gotten any better this same time next year. Should be fun, not!

Started drinking two SlimFast a day meal substitutes, today & will continue though October. I have got to get this weight off.
