Is it just me? Or has "Arrow" become such a ridiculous, convoluted sci-fy drama with too many villians ( Slade, Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, Shapnel, The Hundtress, The Acolyte - you get my drift)? Now, I may be at a disadvantage here, since I was totally not familiar with the characters. I cannot keep track of the villians. So, when the identity of the Dark Archer was revealed, it meant absolutely nothing to me. After all, I only came to watch as John Barrowman was going to be a featured villain.

I got the date wrong & actually started to watch two episodes before John's appearance as Malcolm Merlyn. The constant going back & forth between the past & present, is annoying. And, the lead actor, Stephen Amell, was totally stiff & wooden; whatever the situation, his face was just flat, emotionless! My opinion. He has improved - maybe he is now getting better direction or he just learned how to get more into the character. Also, I do not like the characters Thea, Roy, Laurel & Sara. Then again, it may just be the actors portraying them.

Have only caught snips of several episodes this year. I have not seen the last two episodes at all ( #s 14 & 15); was going to catch up before viewing tonight's show. But, not sure now; when was the character Canary introduced? - I've missed a lot. I would not be surprised if Laurel & Sara's mom turned out to be some undercover avenger! I may just end up only watching the episodes with John Barrowman. Where is Malcolm Merlyn when you need a good villain?!
