I think LJ knows I'm on the very edge & they are trying to get on my last nerve! After dealing with their most recent changes - I honestly think my vision has been harmed due to their awful fine black print, washed out pale blue coloring & stark white background. I really do see floating specks of silver, when I look away from the screen. And, I wear glasses!

Earlier yesterday after trying to get into a journal page of one of my favorite authors, whom I had listed already in my history/favorites file, I had enough. No, I did not send feedback to them, yet. I kept getting the "Adult Content Notice Page". But, each time I tried to click on the section to confirm that I was 18 years of age, the LJ message kept popping up, welcoming me to their new site, with messages to send feedback & switchback to old version. Each time I deleted the LJ message & re-clicked on 18 yrs of age confirmation, their message would pop up again - would not let me into the author's LJ page. In frustration, I clicked on their message that said switch back to old version, set my computer to run a slideshow of pictures of mostly John Barrowman & Gareth David-Lloyd & walked away. My eyes needed the rest.

Came back 4 hours later, they had switched me back to my original version of my LJ page; however, they "fixed" it so that it covered every surface of my 23 inch monitor - no margins left on the top, bottom or sides! Everything was just flat. Even more hideous. I went back to the previous author's LJ page, just so I could get their message again. I again clicked on switch back to old version, set my slideshow to run pictures of John & Gareth - then went & made myself a 16 oz. cup of hot chocolate. Pathetic.

Came back after midnight, 12:47am - finally, it was corrected & back to my old version. Still, doesn't help that some of the LJ sites have the new version. BTW, I still cannot get into that author's LJ site, without having to type in her name in the search engine.

Also, has anyone noticed that while you are on the LJ site of someone else, there is an odd prompt at the top of the LJ site, on the right hand side, that states "View In Own Style". And, when you click on it, no matter what author's site you are on, it will change the setup to exactly mirror your own individual site. Still has that author's stories, blog, whatever. But, it is not that author's setup, it's yours! How creepy is that! Why in the world would you want to do that?
