I think I found a biscuit recipe that may be even better then the first one - this one includes butter & garlic powder in the mix itself. The picture below is from Big Oven, a Food & Drink App on Windows 8. Will have to try later this week. I'm a glutton for punishment!

Yield: 12 Biscuits

Ingredients:
2 & 1/2 C Bisquick Baking mix - 4 Tblsp Cold Butter - 1 C Grated Cheddar Cheese -
3/4 C Cold Whole Milk - 1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder

Brush On Top:

2 Tblsp of Melted Butter - 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder - 1/4 Tsp Dried Parsley Flakes - 1 Pinch Salt

Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 400 (F). Combine Bisquick w/ Cold Butter in med. bowl, using a pastry cutter or fork. There should be small chunks of butter in mix, about the size of a pea.

2. Add Cheddar Cheese, Milk & 1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder. Mix by hand until combined, don't overmix. Drop approx. 1/4 cup portions of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet, using an ice cream scoop.

3. Bake for 15 to 17 mins. or until tops of biscuits begin to turn light brown. After taking Biscuits out of oven, melt 2 Tblsp of Butter in microwave; still in 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder & Dried Parsley Flakes. Use pastry brush to spread butter over tops of all biscuits. Use up all butter.
