My favorite biscuit, easy to make (that's coming from the worst cook in America!) Please note, in the interest of truth in advertising, this is not a picture of the Biscuits I baked (There is a picture on my LJ site: http://sandiw64.livejournal.com/2217.html )

Yields 10 Biscuits (courtesy of Red Lobster & BigOven)
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 c. BUTTER, MELTED
2 c. BISQUICK
2/3 c. MILK
1/2 c. SHARP CHEDDAR, SHREDDED***
1/4 tsp GARLIC POWDER**
STEPS:
Mix Bisquick, cheddar & milk into soft dough. Beat with a wooden spoon (hey, that's what it said!), for about 30 seconds.
Spoon on to greased cookie sheet. Smooth down tops (to keep tops from baking into sharp, hard points). Bake for 8 to 10
minutes at 450 degrees. Meanwhile, melt butter in pan & stir in garlic powder (** you can melt in skillet & add finely
minced garlic & cook briefly-don't burn). Take biscuits from oven when done & brush tops with butter/garlic mix, serve hot.
*** I added extra cheese; will stick strictly to recipe next time,
as extra cheese tended to burn.
