Currently, I am watching " The Great British Baking Show ", which I absolutely love. They had an American version a few years ago, but, it just did not have the same feel as the original British version.
At 8:30pm, I'm going to do something I have not done in over 45 years - watch the Academy Awards. At least, I will attempt to do so. I just might switch back to The Great British Baking Show to see which 2 made it to the finals. And, I don't really want to miss " Grantchester " at 10pm, also, on PBS.
Last time I watched the Oscars was 1969 (or was it 1970? ), the year John Wayne won for True Grit. What a disgrace. I'm back to watch Neil Patrick Harris host & hope to see either Benedict Cumberbatch (my pick) or Eddie Redmayne, win for best actor. If neither of the two wins, Neil, even you may not be good enough to keep me watching. Sorry, Neil. I may not watch again for another 45 years.
