How I intend to cheer myself up ( after Tote Bag disappointment ) with anything related to my cooking, is beyond me.
Well, I baked the bread and the pecan pie muffins; not a success, by any stretch of one's imagination. The taste of that Apricot Cranberry Almond Bread, was just flat & boring. The Pecan Pie Muffins had way too much butter & I only had dark brown sugar, not light, as called for in the recipe; after eating one, I had such a headache - I thought I was having one of my Opthalmic Migraine episodes! Kid you not
