That raucous noise (alright, music) coming from the city public square, has finally stopped; I think the city ordinance states they were supposed to quit at 10pm - they played & sang until 10:15 pm.
Now I am aware that to most people, 15 extra minutes does not sound like that big of a deal. But, it is when you have been driven insane since early this morning! I'm tempted to contact the Mayor's office, first thing Monday morning & lodge a complaint.
I'm blaming the stress I've been under all day for eating 3 pieces of the cake I baked earlier - only thing I've had to eat all day. Yeah, blame it on Cinco de Mayo, sounds about right to me!
