Obviously, you will never read this, but....
After totally ignoring the devastation caused by two hurricanes, on the Island of Puerto Rico ( &, let us not forget about the U S Virgin Islands - you already have! ), while you were bashing & feuding with NFL football & NBA basketball players, you finally remembered Puerto Rico ( but, still not the U S Virgin Islands? ), And, I still believe you were not aware that Puerto Rico's 3 million + citizens are American citizens; they pay Federal Taxes, they pay Federal Payroll Taxes (Soc. Sec. & Medicare) & some even pay Federal Income Taxes ( do you? ). Also, those in the U S Virgin Islands are citizens as well. Come on, someone had to tell you that, did they not?
And, this is a part of what you finally tweeted about Puerto Rico: " Much of Puerto Rico was destroyed, with billions of dollars owed to Wall Street and the banks which, sadly, must be dealt with. Are you for real? Seriously? People, I am not making this up, this is on his Twitter page. This is the first time for me on his twitter page & this will be the last time.
So, your first thought is to bash the people of Puerto Rico for the debts they owe? You just go on, careening from bashing NFL & NBA players, not missing a beat , right on to bashing 3 million plus American citizens of Puerto Rico. Wow!
And, yet today, with all that is happening & needs your attention, you are still talking about NFL football players! You said this was not about race. Well, you don't get to decide that where African-Americans are concerned. Because it is about race, all of it.
Um, I wonder if this explains your lack of attention & urgency regarding Puerto Rico & the U S Virgin Islands. I really hate to say this, but, they are not all brown people - there are white people there as well. Now, will you hurry up?
