This song is from what I consider the best Christmas Album ever made & The Wexfor Carole is one of my all time favorite songs, of any genre. And, of course, Gerri Granger is wonderful.
I have been searching for a video of this entire album, forever! Why I never looked on YouTube, I'll never know. I actually own this album, it's leaning against the wall at my feet right now. I purchased it the year it was released, 1970, yes, 47 years ago! To my everlasting regret, I never checked to see if it was ever issued as a CD. I don't think it was.
At 47 years old, my album is wearing out, plus, I have not owned a Turntable for at least 15 years. So, my goal before Christmas is to find this Album for sale, somewhere. I will buy a Turntable, just to play this album again. In the meantime, I can go to YouTube & listen to all 12 individual songs ( # 12 is a short reprise of # 10, Go Tell It On The Mountain). Maybe, I can find someway to download these songs into my iTunes Library.
Speaking of iTunes, I'm in the process of re-importing 40 Christmas CDs back into my iTunes Library. Yes, all songs on these 40 CDs are some of the 3,600 + songs lost in Cyber Space, somewhere.
